13TH JULY 2019 // THE MILL AT BALLYDUGAN
After 14 years together, Gemma & Niall finally tied the knot!

Knowing Gemma personally I knew after such a long wait, she really wanted a “pinterest goals” big day and I was happy to help where I could!
Being an Irish romantic at heart she wanted a boho and ethereal theme. We decided on misty watercolour textured invitations with a modern layout, green obviously being the colour of choice! This was then mimicked in her menu cards and when placed alongside the eclectic table decor, really balanced the rustic and old timey feel of the gorgeous Mill setting.
Having a fine art background herself, Gemma put her own touches on the big day with hand printed place cards and table names. With the seating plan we used sage ribbon the same shade as the bridesmaid dresses and suits with simple torn edged textured cards detailing the names of guests. The tables were named after traditional Irish songs, with music being very important to them both and their gentleman 11 year old son, Aaron. This was definitely an original choice that caused a few giggles amongst the crowd, including myself - “Fanny Power” being a personal favourite! These were then draped on a railing adorned with ivy and blooms.
I must say, my favourite piece from all that I created was a custom cake topper of the iconic couple Robin Hood & Maid Marian. Being a disney fan also, this was so much fun to create and it looked great when placed on her tiered cheese wedding “cake”.

Big congrats to the newlyweds and I wish your wee family all the best as “The Murphy’s!” Thanks for letting us be part of your big day.

P.S. I also made the flowers for this wedding, but there’s more where that came from… ;)
