The lovely Sophie and Sam got hitched at the Leighnmohr House Hotel on the 19th August 2022. For their big day they wanted a black tie event with a boho twist and I was so happy to be asked to help them extend their vision through their stationery!
Green was the colour of choice for their bridal party and I really wanted to play on juxtaposing the strong and bold choices of black and white (mimicking the "black tie" aesthetic) with this soft sage green through eucalyptus illustrations and beautiful textured card. With their invitations we went for a 5x7 inch folded card, but this time creased horizontally vs the more typical vertical fold. Paired with a black envelope, I think the outcome was moody and fabulous and can't wait to work with other couples on similar styles of card in future. It was the perfect mix of quirky and elegant - right up my street!
I also had the pleasure of creating further pieces too including evening invitations as well as Sophie and Sam's on the day stationery items. We kept their black tie boho theme throughout, with each of their tables being named after their favourite watering holes! It was just so much fun to mix and match the styles with a dark seating plan and place cards and light table names for balance.
Many, many congratulations to this lovely family. I hope it was one of the best days of your life and thanks for letting me be a small part of it! Wishing you so many years of happiness.
